As you are aware Gov. Tony Evers enacted a mandate requiring individuals wear face coverings when indoors at any public gathering. In response to that mandate, Bishop William Callahan issued a statement with guidelines to be followed by all churches within our diocese. Bishop William Callahan’s official statement can be found here.
With this in mind, Holy Name of Jesus will require that anyone entering the church over the age of 5 years old wears a mask, beginning with the 8:00 a.m. Mass on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
It would be greatly appreciated if you would come with your own mask as the current supply Holy Name has on hand is minimal. If we run out we will have to turn people without a mask away.
Thank you for your understanding!
For those that participate in Sunday Mass celebrations virtually, we will have a change starting this weekend. This change is being made to address the quality of sound we have had over the past weeks.
We will now be utilizing Youtube Live. Below you will find the link for today. It will begin at 4pm. Please be patient with us as it our first attempt to utilize this new method. Thank you.
Also, if you subscribe to our Youtube channel when you watch it, it will make it easier to get to Masses in the future.
If you have seen this young man walking around and wondered who he is, well wonder no longer. Tim Reither is a Diocesan seminarian who came to us from Elk Mound, WI by way of Rome in March. His kindness and willingness to help will be greatly missed when he goes back to Rome in August. Please keep Tim in your prayers as he completes his final year before becoming a Diocese of LaCrosse Priest in June 2021.
